Langley Wellness

Set beside an existing pool in Langley, Victoria, this compact wellness building creates a dedicated place to relax, recover and enjoy the surrounding rural landscape. The design is carefully positioned to make the most of distant views across the property, turning the pool area into a more complete outdoor retreat with spaces for bathing, lounging and quiet escape.

The layout brings together a sauna, wet area, hot tub, outdoor shower, lounge space, storage and a feature fireplace, allowing the building to support different ways of unwinding throughout the year. Large openings and carefully placed blade walls frame panoramic views while also providing shelter, privacy and a stronger connection between the pool, garden and surrounding countryside.

A warm palette of timber lining, brickwork, paving and integrated seating gives the wellness pavilion a grounded, natural character suited to its rural Victorian setting. Designed as a small but considered addition, the project enhances everyday living by creating a calm poolside destination for family relaxation, outdoor entertaining and restorative wellness at home.
