Upwey House

This thoughtfully designed extension in Upwey responds to a challenging sloped site with tight constraints, delivering a private yet connected retreat for the parents of a young family. The new addition provides subtle separation while maintaining a strong connection to the main family home. Maximizing natural light was a key priority in the design brief—achieved through careful orientation and spatial planning. The resulting space is light-filled, tranquil, and beautifully nestled among the surrounding tree canopies, blending architecture seamlessly with the natural landscape.
